More than 1,300 people filled the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki to attend The Mom Event, organized for the fourth consecutive year by Genesis Clinic, a member of the IMITHEA Group. An event dedicated to expectant mothers, the significance of motherhood, and new parents, The Mom Event has become a well-established institution in Thessaloniki and throughout Northern Greece.
Seeking reliable information and guidance in an environment that balances scientific expertise with genuine human care, parents with their babies and expectant parents alike attended the event, participating in interactive sessions on newborn care, prenatal exercise, and more. The workshops also included advice on maternal nutrition and breastfeeding, step-by-step first aid for babies, tips on breastfeeding, and more. Through a comprehensive scientific program implemented by the specialized scientific staff of the GENESIS Clinic, the workshop focused on key issues related to pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care, with the aim of enhancing the participants’ sense of security and preparedness.
Hosted with warmth and humor by actress Elena Charalamboudi, the event also featured a prize drawing, with Genesis Clinic awarding two complimentary deliveries in single rooms as a tangible gesture of support for expectant mothers. Additional prizes related to motherhood and infant care were also raffled off. In addition to the Clinic's leading healthcare professionals and partners, the event featured renowned psychotherapist Sandy Koutsostamati, who spoke about postpartum depression and the baby blues, as well as Paralympic discus thrower Konstantinos Tzounis, who highlighted the activer role of fathers.
The Mom Event Also Hosted by Rhodes General Clinic
With a focus on women and the unique journey to motherhood, Rhodes General Clinic, also a member of the IMITHEA Group, organized The Mom Event Rhodes 2026, with the aim of establishing a similar annual event in the Dodecanese.
