The Anesthesiology Clinic is one of the key units of our hospital as it offers its services to all departments, including the surgical, internal medicine and laboratory sector. It is staffed with experienced anesthesiologists with special training and expertise in all areas of Anesthesiology (e.g., Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, regional anesthesia, major abdominal surgical procedures, Thoracic Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, etc.).

The Anesthesiology Clinic meets the needs of Henry Dunant Hospital Center 24/7 for both scheduled and emergency surgical cases, for sedation administration to aid the performance of diagnostic tests (e.g., endoscopies, MRIs, bone marrow biopsies, etc.) as well as for the immediate intervention in emergency situations (e.g., cardiac arrest). The department undertakes the preoperative assessment and preparation of surgical patients, as well as the intraoperative care and safe recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit. It provides the patients’ postoperative analgesic treatment, choosing from a wide range of advanced technical and medical treatment options. It features and applies the most advanced monitoring and care methods, depending on the patient’s individual needs, contributing to the best outcome of the surgical intervention.
