Rheumatology Clinic
HENRY DUNANT Rheumatology Clinic is staffed by specialized staff and provides care at the level of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to patients with diseases of the entire spectrum of rheumatology. The regular rheumatology clinic operates on a daily basis. At the same time rheumatologic assessments are carried out on hospitalized patients.

Activities
The Rheumatology clinic is involved in diseases of the entire spectrum of rheumatology, such as:
- Inflammatory arthritis: Rheumatoid arthritis, seronegative spondyloarthropathy (psoriatic, reactive, enteropathic, ankylosing spondylitis), arthritis associated with infectious causes
- Systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases: Systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, myositis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), mixed connective tissue disease, antiphospholipid syndrome, Still's syndrome, polymyalgia rheumatica
- Vasculitis: Temporal/giant cell arteritis, Wegener's disease, Churg-Strauss syndrome, IgA vasculitis and others
- Crystal-induced arthritis (gout/pseudogout)
- IgG4-related disease
- Degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis, back pain)
- Fibromyalgia/chronic pain syndrome
- Soft tissue rheumatism
- Metabolic bone diseases (osteoporosis)
In the rheumatology center, specialized tests are carried out for the assessment of rheumatic diseases, such as:
- Immune testing for the presence of autoantibodies
- Joint punctures and intra-articular drug infusions
- Synovial fluid analysis by microscopic examination
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound and MRI
- Infusions of drugs/biological agents in the one day clinic (ODC – day clinic)
