The management of Henry Dunant, wishing to highlight the multilevel nature of treatment and healing, is hosting an art exhibition on the occasion of the celebration of March 25th, offering patients, visitors, physicians and hospital staff a different perspective on the operation of a hospital center.
The main goal of the initiative is to “heal” through art and “inspire” through contact with our living history.
The exhibition “HEROES AND SYMBOLS” presents recent works inspired by the Greek War of Independence and the nameless or unsung heroes which were created by two leading Greek artists, the sculptor and professor emeritus of the Athens School of Fine Arts Mr. Theodoros Papagiannis, and the well-known painter Mr. Christos Antonaropoulos.
The exhibition is curated by the Art Historian, Professor Emeritus Mr. Manos Stefanidis.
“We would like to thank all the actors for their contribution. We believe that this initiative expands the goals and potential of our hospital, and we invite you to visit and support it,” said the President and CEO of Henry Dunant, Mr. Themos Charamis.
The exhibition will open on Thursday, 23 March 2023 at 13.00, and will run until Friday 31 March 2023. Visiting hours are 11:00 - 17:00.
