Once again, this year, the Scientific Committee of the Henry Dunant Hospital Center has designed and implements—with free participation—a comprehensive, high-quality educational program, certified and credit-awarded by the Panhellenic Medical Association (PΜΑ). This is one of the biggest and most comprehensive educational programs in the field of health that takes place on an annual basis in our country, offering valuable qualifications to doctors, but also to every employee in the field of health.
The program for the new academic year begins on 05 October 2022 and ends on 28 June 2023. It covers 35 modules and is credit-allocated by the Panhellenic Medical Association (PMA), with 70 credits of Continuing Medical Education (CME-CPD credits), In accordance with the EACCME-UEMS criteria and the respective authorization of the PMA, each participant will be given two (2) Continuous Medical Education (CME-CPD) credits for attending each of the 35 seminars. Participation is free. The only condition is to fill in the electronic form for enrollment in the program.
The scientific events have been scheduled to take place on Wednesdays at the hospital center’s amphitheater, facilitating the annual scheduling of the stakeholders for systematic attendance of the program. The program of 2022-2023 will be also broadcast through livestreaming, offering the ability to ask questions in chat, as well as to communicate and evaluate the program electronically. This makes it possible to attend- and get credits- without being physically present.
“Our goal has always been to keep abreast of developments in modern medicine with the participation of doctors from the Henry Dunant, but also from the wider medical community. The program is formed every year based on a central theme, and this year it is titled “From practice to theory”, with presentation of important cases of clinical practice, review of the international literature and presentations of papers from international and domestic conferences”, stresses the scientific team that coordinates the new training program (Ioannis Koutsikos, Anastasia Koutsouri, Fotini Danou).
