The 6th Palamidi Castle Run took place in Nafplio on Sunday, November 28. It is the only race of this kind in Greece, during which the athletes must first climb the 999 steps of the castle, and then follow a 4.15 km-asphalt paved path downhill, in a single race of 5 km. The Halfmarathon as well as the 5 and 10 km races also took place on the same day. More than 2,000 people of all ages participated in the race to celebrate the 200 years since the beginning of the Revolution.
The Henry Dunant Hospital Center participated again this year in this successful event by providing medical services with a fully equipped ambulance accompanied by a cardiologist, a nurse, and a paramedic.
