With the participation of more than 450 athletes and despite the rainy weather, the Palamidi castle ascension racing took place for the 5th year on November 24, the day of the 197th anniversary of the liberation of Nafplio by the Turkish rule.
The Henry Dunant Hospital Center supported the organization of the Palamidi Castle Run and the 10 km, 3 km and 1,500 m races by providing a fully equipped ambulance, accompanied by a 3‑member team headed by the director of the Emergency Department, Mr. Alexandro Christopoulo, the nurse Mr. Georgio Makri and the paramedic Mr. Manoli Detsi.
Our team was in readiness throughout the Race to provide first aid to those in need.
