Αn advantageous contract has been signed by the Hellenic Volleyball Federation (HVF) with the Henry Dunant Hospital Center. It includes medical and diagnostic examinations, as well as the hospitalization of athletes, coaches and technical advisors of the Beach Volleyball National Teams.
As part of the contract and ahead of the FIVB World Tour, due to take place in Rome next week, the international athletes of the Beach Volleyball Penny Karagkouni and Vicky Arvaniti successfully passed the required medical examinations, coordinated by the doctor of the National Beach Volleyball Team, Dr. Nikolaos Souras, orthopedic surgeon at Henry Dunant Hospital Center.
"The partnership with the Hellenic Volleyball Federation regarding the Medical Coverage of Beach Volleyball National Teams expands the special trust relationship developed by Henry Dunant Hospital Center with the Greek athletic community in general. For athletes, our healthcare center aspires to become a benchmark that will enhance their efforts," said the President and CEO of the healthcare center, Mr. Themos Charamis, referring to the special cooperation of Henry Dunant Hospital and the Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) for the medical support of international athletes preparing for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
For his part, the President of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation Mr. George Karampetsos stated: "I am delighted about this cooperation of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation with the Henry Dunant Hospital Center.
