3rd Clinic of Surgery
The 3rd Clinic of general surgery collaborates with all relevant specialties, the Intensive Care Unit as well as the Oncology Council.
The main aim of the department is the professional and advanced treatment on the entire spectrum of general surgery diseases, including open surgery and laparoscopic surgery, as required by the medical advances and the international scientific regulations.
The Clinic’s main filed of interest is Surgical Oncology.

Scientific staff
The 3rd Clinic of General Surgery consists of a team of 3 surgeons, namely the Director and the two Registrars, PhD holders, Surgeons with significant training and experience following the completion of their internship. Mrs. Aphrodite Betsou also collaborates with the department as a Scientific Associate surgeon. This staff has full responsibility for both the scientific and the advisory activities of the department. The department exploits the entire infrastructure of Henry Dunant Hospital Center’s operating theaters, Laboratories and other Departments. The dynamics of the Department is increasing, as it harmoniously collaborates with all specialties, in line with the advancements of Medical Science.
