Henry Dunant Hospital Center features the most advanced Digital Mammography system which is the only one in Greece that has received accreditation by the European Reference Organization for Quality Assured Breast Screening and Diagnostic Services (EUREF).

The new digital mammography system is equipped with a stereotactic biopsy system and groundbreaking technical specifications, such as:

• Direct flat panel detector, which ensures high resolution of digital images.
• Very small pixel size70 mm, facilitating the identification of microcalcifications at a very early stage.
• Fast compression paddles, which are able to tilt to enable uniform compression across the breast.
• Radiation absorption system, which ensures much better penetration - particularly in dense breasts.
• Specifically designed radiolucent mammography cushioning pads for comfort and painless examination.
