COVID-19 TESTING

What you need to know?

- Molecular detection of SARS-CoV-2 is performed using the standardized Real Time RT PCR method based on reference protocols [World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC] and with certified reagents and analyzers bearing the CE-IVD marking.

- The test is performed on nasopharyngeal samples, ensuring the safest detection of the virus, even when its levels are low.

- Each sample is examined separately, thus ensuring the maximum possible sensitivity of the method.

- The results are sent electronically in 2-5 hours or within 24 hours, depending on the time sampling was performed (daily, weekends and holidays).

COVID-19  IgG/IgM ANTIBODY TESTING

What you need to know?

- Quantitative determination of SARS-CoV-2 IgG/IgM antibodies is performed on clinical serum, plasma, or whole blood samples. The results are reported as number (antibody titer) and not as “presence” or “absence” of antibodies.

- With this method we monitor the increase or decrease of antibodies against COVID, i.e., the immunity of our body to infection.

- The results of the antibody titer test are sent electronically within 2 hours from the receipt of the samples from the Laboratory (daily, weekends and holidays).

- The test does not replace the molecular test.

SCREENING TEST FOR COVID-19 & INFLUENZA A/B & RSV

What you need to know:

- We perform simultaneous molecular detection of coronavirus, influenza Α/Β virus (identification and Η1Ν1) as well as detection of the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which is a common virus that causes the common cold during the winter.

- The test is performed on nasopharyngeal samples, ensuring the safest detection of the virus, even when its levels are low.

- The results are sent electronically in 2-5 hours or within 24 hours, depending on the time sampling was performed (daily, weekends and holidays).

Methodology: Multiplex Real Time RT-PCR with fully automated and certified analyzers bearing the CE-IVD marking.
