Activities

The activities of the 3rd Hematology Clinic include:

  • Operation of a hematology outpatient clinic for the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients on both a scheduled and emergency outpatient basis.
  • Inpatient care of hematology patients in the hospital wards for conditions requiring prolonged hospitalization, as well as treatment in the One Day Clinic for conditions requiring single-day hospitalization.
  • Performance of bone marrow biopsy and bone marrow aspiration.
  • Provision of hematology consultation services for inpatients and outpatients managed by other medical specialties.
  • 24-hour daily coverage for hematology patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
