With a big interdisciplinary medical meeting in Rhodes, Henry Dunant and the Euromedica General Clinic of Dodecanese are opening a new chapter in their direct cooperation. Their shared goal is to offer new resources to the local community and to upgrade the quality of healthcare services provided at both the primary and secondary levels.
The 1st Interdisciplinary Medical Meeting, co-organized by the two institutions, marks the launch of a new strategic plan for joint action—both administratively and medically—through the imminent formation of a new private healthcare group, following the acquisition of Euromedica clinics by Henry Dunant HC.
Bridging distances and specialties, the Rhodes conference—scheduled for Saturday, 29 March, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Mediterranean Hotel—will bring together more than 50 distinguished physicians from both hospitals to present all the latest developments across key medical fields. The main objective of the meeting, however, is to establish stronger scientific ties between the two healthcare units, as they guarantee the continuous improvement of the quality and safety of medical services provided to patients. With its established presence in the healthcare sector, its cutting-edge infrastructure, advanced technology, and innovative medical practices, Henry Dunant will lead this course, leaving its mark on an interactive relationship with the medical community and the Greek periphery, as well as on the creation of a scientific tradition.
"In an era of rapid medical advancement, attending physicians are called to adapt to evolving demands and to face challenges through modern approaches. Distance is no longer a barrier to high-quality, contemporary medical practice. Technology, combined with structured and hierarchical cooperation, constitute essential tools for the effective management of new challenges, always with the patient at the center. This first interdisciplinary day conference marks the beginning of a series of similar initiatives aimed at continuously improving medical services in the Dodecanese, while establishing a stable framework of cooperation among doctors and hospitals within the new Group, which will soon be operational” notes the president of the Scientific committee, Mr. Antonios Vasilogiannakopoulos.
