A new landscape in the private healthcare sector is taking shape with the completion of the acquisition of Euromedica clinics by IMITHEA SINGLE MEMBER S.A., owner of Henry Dunant Hospital Center, and its transformation into one of the largest groups providing primary and secondary care services in Greece.

Through this acquisition, a network of clinics with the widest geographical coverage in Greece is created, with the primary goal of providing healthcare services of the highest quality and safety to HDHC’s patients, physicians, and staff.

The new Group now includes six (6) General and Maternity Clinics in Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes and Kozani, 1 Rehabilitation Center in Thessaloniki, holdings in other Rehabilitation Centers, as well as Procurement and IT companies.  The Group’s healthcare network employs more than 2,500 employees and over 3,500 affiliated physicians. It operates more than 1,400 secondary care beds nationwide.

The Group now includes:      

• The Henry Dunant Hospital Center in Athens.One of the largest healthcare organizations not only in Greece but also in the wider region of Southeastern Europe. It is among the small number of hospitals worldwide to have received the prestigious Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation. The hospital offers more than 460 inpatient beds, 25 state-of-the-art operating theaters, 38 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds, a cutting-edge Renal Dialysis Unit with 20 beds, and a 24/7 Emergency Department.  
• The General Clinic of Thessaloniki.The largest clinic in the center of Thessaloniki, with 210 inpatient beds, 18 ICU beds, 17 operating theaters, and a 24-hour Emergency Department.   
• The Blue Cross Clinic in Thessaloniki.A model healthcare facility with 112 inpatient beds, 10 ICU beds, 15 Renal Dialysis Unit beds, 14 operating theaters, and round-the-clock emergency care.
• The Genesis Clinic in Thessaloniki.A general clinic that houses the largest maternity and gynecology department in Northern Greece, with more than 4,500 births annually. It has 140 inpatient beds, six ICU beds, and six operating theaters. 
• The General Clinic of Dodecanese in Rhodes.The largest private clinic in the Dodecanese. It has 94 inpatient beds, 6 ICU beds, 15 Renal Dialysis Unit beds, 5 operating theaters, and round-the-clock emergency care. It also includes a Maternity Unit with six Neonatal ICU beds.
• The General Clinic Zoodochos Pigi in Kozani.The sole private clinic in Western Macedonia, with 65 inpatient beds, 15 Renal Dialysis Unit beds, 2 General Surgery operating theaters and 2 Obstetric Theaters.
