With the central aim of fostering an interactive relationship with the medical community also in the Greek periphery, and creating a scientific tradition through which the latest medical advancement and innovations can be showcased, the Henry Dunant Hospital Center is organizing the 2nd “Bridging the Levels of Care” conference which shall take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Livadia.
The one-day conference, held under the auspices of the Medical Association of Livadia and Thebes, will bring together more than 50 physicians from the Henry Dunant Hospital and the wider medical community of Boeotia. The agenda includes current and important topics in the fields of Neurology, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Robotic Surgical Oncology and Thyroid Cancer. The event will take place at the “Christos Palaiologos” Conference Center in Livadia, (at 9:30 a.m.), with the ambition of becoming a milestone in the ongoing initiative that began two years ago with the multidisciplinary National Conference organized by the Henry Dunant in Athens, under the general theme “Bridging the Levels of Care”. Please remember that following the national conference, the first regional stop in this cycle took place last year in Nafplio.
Through a rich variety of topics in Livadia, the Henry Dunant emphasizes the synergy among medical specialties and the interdisciplinary collaboration in the management of each case, while also focusing on the realities of daily clinical practice, as assessed by each individual patient. “Henry Dunant is a powerful leader in the healthcare sector, featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure, cutting-edge technology and innovative medical practices that are always centered around people and their needs. The conference will open with welcome remarks by His Eminence Metropolitan Georgios of Thebes, Livadia & Avlida, the president of the Medical Association of Livadia, Mr. Vasilis Krikos, and the President of the Medical Association of Thebes, Ms. Filio Protopapa.
