Henry Dunant Hospital Center and Eurolife FFH have entered into a strategic partnership that shapes a new landscape for insured patients, further strengthening Eurolife FFH’s presence in the life insurance sector. The new agreement ensures additional benefits and allows Eurolife FFH policyholders unrestricted access to the state-of-the-art and top-level services at Henry Dunant Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in Southeastern Europe, which has been awarded the Golden Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission International (JCI).
Specifically, the agreement includes unlimited free visits to outpatient clinics and the emergency department across nine specialties; preferential pricing (based on official government rates) for scheduled diagnostic tests, where there is no referral slip from the Greek National Healthcare Service Provider (EOPYY); free diagnostic tests in emergency cases up to €500 per incident; and favorable hospitalization terms where the policyholder’s excess is absorbed for up to €1,000 (including the EOPYY’s share). In case of hospitalization, the agreement provides for free transportation by ambulance within the Attica region.
As part of the new partnership, an informational meeting was held at the Henry Dunant Hospital Center auditorium for the associates of Eurolife FFH’s Corporate Network. The session included a detailed presentation of all aspects and benefits of the collaboration, followed by a guided tour of the hospital facilities (outpatient clinics, diagnostic services, emergency department, and patient rooms).
Referring to the strengthened partnership, the Chairman of the Board of Henry Dunant Hospital Center, Mr. Themos Charamis stated: “Health is a commodity that private hospitals and insurance companies must safeguard. For Henry Dunant, this approach is a matter of principle, as we do not treat patients as clients. Eurolife FFH follows a similar compass as one of the largest companies on the Greek insurance market. Henry Dynant is growing, always placing emphasis on the high quality of its services and patient care. Our partnership is both the culmination of our shared goal and the starting point for innovative and pioneering steps.”
Welcoming the new era of cooperation between the two parties, Mr. Alexandros Sarrigeorgiou, Chairman and CEO of Eurolife FFH, noted: “I am particularly pleased that we are joining forces with Henry Dunant, a large and state-of-the-art organization, with the goal of benefiting our policyholders. I believe that when citizens in Greece face a health issue requiring care, it is important that they have more options regarding their hospitalization. Through our health products and the support of our partners, we aim to offer these additional options to our policyholders with fair pricing policies. Despite the large insurance gap in Greece, we at Eurolife FFH, we want to focus on the prospects for growth. I am confident that our partnership with the Henry Dunant team will be productive for both sides and that it will continue to evolve.”
