An exhibition and an album on the work and career of the famous artist
By hosting a new painting exhibition in the hospital’s premises and by contributing to the publication of a luxury album featuring the work of the famous painter Theodoros Pantaleon, Henry Dunant seeks to highlight its multi-dimensional character, offering its patients, visitors, doctors and staff a different perspective on its operation at the end of 2023 and the beginning of the new year.
After all, the surrealism that accompanies the Christmas season can be combined with the magical world that unfolds through the paintings of Theodoros Pantaleon, who is a key representative of surrealism in the Greek visual arts, in a creative journey that spans 60 years.
The opening of the exhibition featuring the painter’s recent works and the presentation of his album will take place on Thursday, 14 December 2023 at 13:00, in a special event at the Henry Dunant Amphitheatre. The album will be presented by the Art Historian, Professor Emeritus Mr. Manos Stefanidis, who curated the exhibition and the album containing the work of the distinguished painter, the President and CEO of Henry Dunant, Mr. Themos Charamis, and the painter Mr. Theodoros Pantaleon. Texts will be read by the actress Mina Cheimona.
Theodoros Pantaleon’s works will be exhibited in the lobby of the hospital for the next month, with free pubic access and observance of the prescribed security measures.
