The main focus of both the Clinic of Endocrinology and the Metabolism and Diabetes Center is the diagnosis and treatment of all endocrine system diseases (pituitary gland, thyroid gland, adrenal glands, adrenal cortex and adrenal medulla, testes and ovaries) and metabolic disorders. Emphasizing the management and treatment of rising modern day diseases such as obesity and diabetes, the main mission of the Clinic and its medical staff is to provide high quality services equivalent to those seen in the greatest specialized centers abroad. In support of its mission the Clinic also features a Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
